I have tried a silver product once before, used during cold and flu season as an extra boost when I felt I was exposed to something or was coming down with something. The product I used before was much paler in color, it was a structured silver water. This is much darker, but that is consistent with it being a concentrated form of this. It’s much higher ppm than many other similar formulas, so you are getting a lot in just a couple drops.Proponents often promote oral colloidal silver (including mild silver protein forms like this one) for a wide range of supposed uses:• Boosting the immune system and fighting infections (bacterial, viral, fungal).• Treating or preventing colds, flu, sinus issues, sore throats, or general illnesses.• Wound/skin healing, acne, or minor infections (more relevant topically).• Other unproven claims in the broader marketSo far I have used it topically on a cut because it is reported to have antimicrobial properties — I did not have a negative reaction to topical application and my cut did not get infected — whether or not the solution had any effect, it’s hard to say.I did some more research about the possible negative effects of a silver supplement, one of which could be some gut microbiome disruption because of its antimicrobial properties.I am currently trying to fix some gut health issues (mainly reflux) and have been focused on taking a wide variety of probiotic strains so that I have a diverse population. Evidence is mixed as to how much this would alter the microbiome, but because of this, I would hesitate to take this orally right now.That is not to say that I wouldn’t consider oral consumption at a later date.One other concern that comes up with silver supplements is argyria, where accumulation of silver concentration in the body causes it to turn blue (look it up), and it’s irreversible. This seems to be a good quality colloidal silver. It’s American made, third party tested, and is GMP certified.I don’t take colloidal silver daily, only when I start feeling sick, so with the higher potency, and only using as needed, this bottle will go a long way for me. It’s fairly tasteless, and very easy to take. Compared to other brands of silver I’ve taken before, this is a higher potency and larger bottle at a better price. Overall, it seems to be a great product.

Love colloidal silver. Works wonderfully to help the immune system. This brand is decent and it's a good deal for the price. Would definitely purchase again in the future.

I don’t know much about silver supplements but what I read was promising.It is well packaged in a dark bottle. The label says it is gmp manufactured and 3rd party tested which are important for quality.It is stated as flavorless but I felt it had a light chemical taste if taken alone. If you mix it in another beverage it is flavorless. I did not experience any other digestive side effects while taking it.It’s a 4 oz bottle which is great since I cannot judge how much a quarter teaspoon is. There are no markers on the dropper and no recommendation as to how many drops might be close. I doubt that I will get 90 doses from the bottle.As to whether it works or not, I have no idea. I feel like I haven’t gotten sick but so many other factors can impact that.It is a larger bottle than most I have seen so it should last but it is rather expensive and there might be lower cost alternatives.As always individual results vary and check with your doctor before you start any supplement.

I’m not very familiar with silver supplements, but I saw this Homeopathic High-Grade Mild Silver Protein from the Number One Nutrition Store and decided to try it, especially since it’s cold and flu season and I wanted some immune support. I’ve heard of colloidal silver before, but not this type. This version doesn't contain tiny silver particles. Instead it’s a liquid silver suspended in water and stabilized with mild silver protein. I can’t see any particles at all. When I used the dropper to put some on a clean paper towel, the liquid appeared brown. I’m not sure if that’s normal, since other colloidal silver products I’ve seen were clear. There’s no mention of color anywhere on the bottle or description, so that makes me a bit hesitant to use it regularly. I didn't taste any kind of flavor. The bottle itself is very dark brown glass, so dark that I can't see any light through it at all. The dropped is built right into the cap. Directions say to store it in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.One thing I found interesting is that the concentration is much higher than other silver liquid supplements I’ve looked at, which means the bottle should last longer. The ingredients list only says silver and purified water, so I’m not sure how the “silver protein” fits in. I've made this stuff before in a little maker which is great and all but I never know the PPM. I much prefer getting the exact amount and this is perfect for thatThis is nice and clear (like suuuper clear, some have a tint to it), it's tasteless, the dropper works and as far as I can tell this is effective. Does it work? I suppose that depends on what it's being used for. It worked for me and that's all that I can report. I picked up this 4oz bottle of mild silver protein to help boost my immune system during the colder months. The 1500PPM concentration is significantly higher than the standard silver water I used to take; so I feel like I am getting a more potent dose without needing as much. I usually just put a few drops under my tongue; but the taste is incredibly strong and metallic; almost like sucking on a handful of change. Since it is a silver protein; the liquid is dark; so I have to be extremely careful not to spill it on my shirt or the counter because it stains instantly. It seems to be keeping me feeling well so far; but the intensity of the flavor makes it a bit of a chore to take every day.
